We learned about this bitch through our friend Carol Ann Patterson. She agreed to pick up the puppy and we were to meet her in a few days and get her. Well Frank's mom became ill and we were running back and forth to see her and work. Carol Ann kept this puppy for us until we could find time to go to her home. Her granddaughter named the puppy "Hope". The reason for the name was because she "Hoped" that we could soon come and get our puppy before she fell in love with her. When we did get to go and meet her, my husband and I thought that was a cute story and we made the comment that we "Hoped" that she would produce us some wonderfull puppies! The name "Hope" just seem to be the right name for her.

Carol Ann took Hope out and put most of the points on her. Every weekend I was glued to the phone waiting to hear the news that she had gotten more points. Hope was only a major and a few points away from getting her championship when she went with handler Dennis Kniola. I was very happy to be at the show when she completed her championship! What a wonderful day that was, Hope finished and Jack got his first Point!
